CSR Project: World Aids Day

WORLD AIDS DAY

Worlds AIDS day was celebrated on the 1st December, 2018. As part of our selfless effort to achieve the SDGs we mobilized NYSC SDGs volunteers to embark on a walk for HIV/AIDS. The volunteers distributed condoms (male and female), fliers and also conducted a public sensitization. The Lagos state Aids Control Agency was also involved in the celebration as we all joined a host of stakeholders across the globe to celebrate World AIDS Day.

TRAINING OF SDGs VOLUNTEERS

We are committed to training SDGs volunteers in every orientation camp. We provide training materials, support system and organize the training sessions with the schedule officer for the Lagos State NYSC SDGs Advocacy group.

TRAINING OF TRAINERS

We do training of trainers for SDGs volunteers. Once in every four months, we organize refresher training for all the trainers to reignite their passion and also to ensure they are properly aligned to the training methodologies.

MENTORING AND PROJECT EXECUTION

Our latest mentee is Tolulope Ogunsami, a volunteer who wrote an activity manual for trainers under maximum supervision from Stakeholders in SDGs. He presented the manual to the schedule officer and his effort was well appreciated. We assist volunteers in writing CVs, we review project proposals and we attach them with potential sponsors in situations where we cannot fund such project.
